Job Summary
Lead multiple Dollar General stores within the assigned area, assuming full profit and loss responsibility and driving divisional goals. Build and sustain a culture aligned with the company mission and values; ensure fair HR practices; deliver superior customer service through friendly stores; drive area sales growth to meet or exceed targets through quality ordering and efficient flow; optimize inventory presentation and management; plan and execute company objectives; maximize performance via smart store scheduling; develop human capital through proactive recruitment, training, and customer education; protect company assets through loss prevention and cost controls; identify and develop new business opportunities in operational area (distribution flow, merchandising, store growth, site selection, recruiting strategy, training, employee relations, systems implementation); communicate divisional and regional priorities effectively to store teams. Note: requires weekly travel in a company-provided vehicle with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
Required Qualifications
- Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility.
