Job Summary
Plan and lead activities of all stores within the assigned area of operation, including full profit and loss responsibility, while acting within company objectives to accomplish divisional and regional goals. Lead store teams by ensuring fair administration of human resources policies, superior customer service, and area annual sales growth that meets or exceeds targets through quality orders and efficient flow processes. Maximize performance through sensible store scheduling, proactive recruitment, and total development of human capital. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the operational area, including distribution flow improvements, merchandising display efforts, and store growth. Maintain consistent communication of divisional priorities while protecting company assets through loss prevention and expense efficiencies. This role requires weekly travel in a company-provided vehicle with limited overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- Four+ years retail management experience with progressively more responsibility, managing multi-unit operations in retail, grocery or convenience store operations with full P&L responsibility
- Must be able to travel weekly in a company-provided vehicle with limited overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- "Big-box" retail management and/or equivalent education and experience combination
