Job Summary
Dispensary Manager oversees operations at a marijuana dispensary nationwide. Responsibilities include monitoring cannabis product inventory, hiring and training customer service, sales, and security staff, and setting standards and protocols for delivering products and services. May communicate directly with customers to recommend products when sales staff cannot. Supervises all employees during transactions and ensures customers receive documentation on product expectations. Requires Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, 21+ years old, and a track record in retail management with strong communication and accounting understanding; cannabis product knowledge is highly desirable. Strong operational skills in a fast-paced, complex retail environment and proficient computer skills are needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (or commensurate experience)
- Retail management experience
- Retail experience a must
- Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
- Understanding of accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data
- Knowledge of retail operations
- Computer operating skills
- Must not have been convicted of any felony offense
- Medical marijuana product knowledge highly desirable
