Job Summary
Retail Development Manager with field-based responsibilities across East London, focusing on managing a portfolio of independent retailer sites, driving store performance, offering practical operational guidance, and identifying opportunities for commercial growth. Travel across East London and surrounding areas, regular field visits to retailers, and coordination with head office IT, logistics, and operations to resolve issues and deliver against KPIs. Build strong retailer partnerships, coach and guide partners to improve their store offer, and act as the link between retailers and internal teams to ensure a seamless service.
Required Qualifications
- A strong track record in field sales, convenience or FMCG
- Experience building partnerships that drive commercial results
- Great communication skills, with the ability to influence and support a broad range of partners
- Strong organisational skills and the confidence to manage a busy workload independently
- Good IT skills, with the ability to understand, interpret and present data clearly
- A full UK driver’s licence
