Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Ensure an excellent customer experience by engaging with all shoppers, maintaining store cleanliness, and modeling exceptional service. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Organize back stock rotation, enforce signage standards, and ensure compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and recycling programs. Communicate priorities with management and coordinate with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain efficient goods flow.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
- 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
