Job Summary
Retail Department Supervisor at Homesense (TJX) will execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing by associates, and foster a positive customer experience. Responsibilities include training Associates on merchandising and processing principles, ensuring correct tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise, coordinating with the Coordinator on Duty to maintain flow of goods to the sales floor, monitoring and coaching productivity, organizing back stock for replenishment, maintaining signage and backroom standards, and supporting safety, recycling, and hazardous waste programs. The role requires communicating with management on priorities, contributing to associate development, and participating in loss-reduction initiatives. The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to labor laws, and delivering a high-quality store environment. The job is located at Mount Pleasant, SC with availability for nights and weekends, and offers a starting hourly wage of $16.00-$16.50 plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
