Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensure the store remains clean and organized, and properly tag, hang, and secure merchandise. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to meet store plans. Organize back stock rotation, uphold signage and cleanliness standards, and ensure compliance with labor laws, safety protocols, and recycling programs. Communicate priorities with management and provide progress updates while supporting shrink reduction goals and credit initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
