Job Summary
Retail Customer Service & Sales Support role at Nordstrom Rack in East Palo Alto. Responsibilities include assisting customers across multiple platforms (in-store, online, and mobile) with cashiering and POS transactions, providing a smooth fitting room experience, keeping the sales floor and stockrooms organized, re-merchandising to keep the floor ready, ticketing merchandise accurately, stocking and fulfilling orders, and supporting stock, fulfillment, and customer service tasks. Must demonstrate clear communication, teamwork, accountability, organization, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Roles available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment, with a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Retail/customer service experience preferred
- Ability to operate POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds for stock/floor duties)
- Flexible scheduling including weekend/holiday shifts
- Stockroom and merchandising aptitude
- Fitting room assistance
- Inventory control and ticketing accuracy
