Job Summary
Greet customers entering the rental department, answer rental calls, and generate special orders while demonstrating equipment and completing transactions per company procedures. Assemble and stock incoming inventory, restock back stock, and inform management of inventory issues. Maintain general housekeeping inside and outside the department, ensure safety and security, and communicate repair status to the manager and customers. Inspect incoming and outgoing units and operate various equipment including computer workstations, box crushers, and lift machines. Maintain on-site attendance per handbook standards and perform any other tasks required by management.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds from ground to waist level
- Visual acuity to operate machinery, such as drill press, chain sharpeners, or power saws, where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach
- Ability to perform mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as technicians, service people, mechanics, etc.
- Ability to operate various equipment including must not limited to: Computer work-station, software programs, box crusher, key maker machine, pressure washer, chain sharpener, and lift
