Job Summary
Deliver outstanding customer service by taking bets on various sports, processing cash transactions, and demonstrating betting terminals. Urge safer gambling practices, handle complaints with empathy, and maintain high shop standards while working towards defined targets. Open or close the shop as part of the retail team, reporting to the Shop Manager. Shifts run Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm, with a typical weekly rota of 30 hours including weekends and bank holidays. Rota is provided four weeks in advance.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or over
- Previous work in a customer-facing setting
- Confidence working with customers in person
- Familiarity with cash handling and payment transactions
