Job Summary
Retail Customer Service Lead at PetSmart leads the in-store pet-parent experience, drives loyalty and promotions, supervises daily tasks, trains and coaches associates, and ensures store standards, safety, and cleanliness. Responsible for pet parent interactions, live pet sales/adoptions, merchandise promotions, POS operations, and supporting services partnerships while maintaining brand integrity and delivering a positive customer experience. Requires 2+ years retail experience, leadership aptitude, full-time availability, strong communication, and ability to handle physical tasks and a fast-paced store environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
- Leadership experience preferred
- Full-time availability
- Flexibility in schedule; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility (no direct reports, but guides and supports development of other associates)
