Job Summary
Retail Customer Service Lead responsible for delivering exceptional pet-parent experiences, driving store-wide customer service strategies, and leading a team. Manages pet parent interactions in person/phone/online, supports live pet adoptions and partnerships (Vet/Shot Clinics), coordinates store events and promotions, assists with online order pick-ups, and acts as Leader on Duty. Oversees merchandising, store cleanliness, safety, engagement, and adherence to policies. Responsibilities include training and mentoring associates, validating operational messages, handling POS/cash transactions, and maintaining brand standards while ensuring a positive, safety-focused store environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
- Leadership experience preferred
- Full-time availability required, flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility
