Job Summary
PetSmart’s Experience Lead (Retail Customer Service Lead) drives the pet parent experience and initiatives across in-store services, engagements, and promotions. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring associates, onboarding and coaching, validating tasks and compliance, supporting Services when needed, handling daily operations and POS transactions, and ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging store environment. The role promotes pet adoption events and partnerships, coordinates merchandising and marketing activities, prepares online orders for pickup, and Upholds brand integrity while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring adherence to store policies. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential to manage workflows, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve store targets.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
- Leadership experience preferred
- Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Supervisory responsibility - guide and support development of other associates
