Job Summary

PetSmart Experience Lead (Retail Customer Service Lead) drives the pet parent experience and loyalty initiatives, oversees store operations and merchandising, leads and coaches associates, handles customer interactions in person or online, supports live pet adoptions and vet partnerships, and ensures store standards, safety, and policy compliance while managing POS and cash procedures. Key responsibilities include developing the associate experience, onboarding and mentoring, addressing complaints, coordinating store events, promoting pet services, and maintaining a positive, service-oriented environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Leadership experience preferred
