Job Summary
Deliver outstanding customer service by taking bets on various sports and events, processing cash transactions, and demonstrating betting terminals. Handle customer complaints with empathy and problem-solving skills while always urging safer gambling practices. Maintain high shop standards and open or close the store as scheduled. Work Monday through Sunday from 8am to 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays, with a typical weekly rota of 17 hours. Report to the Shop Manager within the Ladbrokes & Coral betting shop team to build relationships and encourage repeat custom.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or over
- Previous work in a customer-facing setting
- Confidence working with customers in person
- Familiarity with cash handling and payment transactions
