Job Summary

Retail Customer Service Coordinator role at TJX/ HomeGoods focusing on frontline leadership to ensure highly-satisfied customer experiences, training and mentoring associates on register operations, adherence to policies, cash handling, and maintaining store standards. Responsibilities include promoting customer loyalty, addressing concerns, coordinating breaks, audits, and maintaining safety and loss prevention practices. Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, high school or equivalent, teamwork, strong interpersonal and customer service skills, and prior coordinator/retail supervisory experience preferred. Location: Charlottesville, VA; starting pay $14.75-$15.25 per hour with full benefits package available.

Required Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred
  • Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without reasonable accommodations
  • Able to train and provide direction to others
  • Able to run a register/handle money
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred
