Job Summary
Operate the retail unit, manage opening and closing procedures, and ensure product availability while adhering to cash controls and food legislation. Deliver exceptional customer service, promote sales opportunities, and collaborate with management to achieve store targets. Adapt to flexible schedules including early starts, late finishes, and regular weekend work. Maintain an attractive unit, follow cleaning rota, and support training initiatives to foster an inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE level education or equivalent
- Experience using EPOS till systems and software
- Face-to-face customer service experience
- Excellent face-to-face customer service skills
- Knowledge of retail best practices, FIFO, and stock control
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to work towards targets and collaborate with team members
- Problem-solving abilities and fostering a team mentality
- Experience in flexible working within a team environment
- Basic food preparation skills
- Adapting to flexible working schedules
- Work will involve early starts and late finishes
- Includes regular weekend work
