Job Summary
Conduct personalized beauty consultations, offer expert product demonstrations, and apply makeup or skincare to build lasting client relationships. Maintain a shoppable sales floor by organizing merchandise, updating signs, and managing fitting rooms while using point-of-sale technology to process transactions. Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and share loyalty program benefits to drive sales and client retention. Meet daily sales goals through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and leveraging clienteling tools for product launches. Work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 42 hours per quarter during the first three fiscal quarters.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, demonstrating product application, and educating them on the benefits and use of beauty products
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
- Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours
- Lifting at least 25lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Reaching, including above eye level
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Minimum number of weekend shifts may be required
