Job Summary
Conduct personalized beauty consultations, offer expert product demonstrations, and apply makeup while educating customers on skincare and styling trends. Maintain a shoppable sales floor by recovering merchandise, updating signs, and organizing fitting rooms. Build lasting client relationships through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and loyalty program engagement to drive sales and meet daily goals. Use point-of-sale technology to process transactions and support customers with personalized shopping experiences. This role requires flexible availability across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 42 hours per quarter during the first three fiscal quarters and 60 hours in the fourth.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, demonstrating product application, and educating them on the benefits and use of beauty products
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
- Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours
- Lifting at least 25lbs.
- Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Reaching, including above eye level
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
- Minimum number of weekend shifts may be required
