Job Summary
Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Retail & Buying. Manage inventory tracking, vendor communications, reporting, and day-to-day retail operations to help ensure department efficiency and success. Duties include assisting with purchase orders, product data entry, and vendor communications; tracking inventory levels and stock replenishment; supporting seasonal buying preparation and product organization; coordinating sample management and product deliveries; maintaining pricing and product information in retail systems; assisting with promotions, merchandising projects, store initiatives, and retail events; coordinating with the retail director and shop managers on yearly inventory; compiling sales reports and inventory analysis; assisting with budgets, invoices, credit card reconciliation, and end-of-month reports; ensuring data accuracy across POS and inventory systems; serving as a professional point of contact for vendors and internal teams; following HR training requirements and safety policies; interacting with the public in a cheerful, positive manner and maintaining harmonious working relationships with staff.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or six to nine months related experience and/or training
- Experience with inventory or retail management systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of retail merchandising and buying processes
- Professional and positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Previous administrative or retail experience
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
