Job Summary
Oversees the daily operations of the Coffee Shop, Cafeteria, and Kaweah Gift Shop; manages inventory, handles cash and financial transactions with accuracy, and delivers exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. Ensures compliance with health regulations, trains staff on safety policies, performs inventory audits and FIFO stocking, reconciles cash drawers, processes transactions, and collaborates with multiple departments and vendors to optimize inventory and promotions while supporting a patient-centric environment.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
- One year of experience in a high volume, fast-paced, casual dining restaurant or similar experience in a hospitality or institutional setting
- Hospitality and/or health care experience
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong Communication (verbal and written)
- Organizational multitasking and time management skills
