Job Summary
Retail Communications Manager to lead the development and distribution of clear, consistent communications for field teams and internal partners. Responsibilities include managing the retail communications strategy to support business initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams on store-facing initiatives, maintaining communication calendars and workflows, ensuring consistency across channels, translating business priorities into effective materials, and writing/editing newsletters, bulletins, emails, templates, talking points, and scripts. The role also involves maintaining SOPs and store resources, identifying communication needs and risks, gathering field feedback, tracking deliverables and timelines, coordinating responses to customer inquiries, and supporting leadership in shaping communication strategies. Strong writing, proofreading, organizational, and project-management skills are essential, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Required and preferred experience highlight collaboration with senior leaders and multi-unit retail experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft applications and content-management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in communications, retail communications, marketing communications or a related field
- 2+ years of experience developing business communication materials such as newsletters, emails, templates or bulletins
- 3+ years of experience managing communication projects and deliverables, timelines or cross-functional workflows
