Job Summary
Fabricate, prepare, and assemble commercial doors and hollow metal frames; load, unload, and move doors and materials with a forklift; stage materials for production, shipping, and installation; perform light MIG welding and modify doors according to specs; operate hand and power tools safely; inspect materials for quality and accuracy; maintain a clean, safe warehouse; work independently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required; certification preferred
- Experience with commercial doors, frames, construction, or building materials preferred
- Basic MIG welding experience required
- Ability to read work orders, measurements, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the workday
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong safety awareness
