Job Summary
Greet members and guests professionally, assist with merchandise selection and product information, and operate point-of-sale systems to process payments and maintain accurate cash handling. Respond to tee time inquiries, coordinate scheduling, and ensure retail displays remain organized and visually appealing. Restock merchandise, assist with inventory counts, and support promotional events while maintaining cleanliness of the pro shop, clubhouse, and golf carts. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in a retail and clubhouse environment, lifting items up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, reach, and climb as required
- Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 50 lbs
- Frequent manual and finger dexterity for operating POS systems and handling merchandise
- Exposure to varying temperatures when assisting in indoor and outdoor areas
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service or retail experience
- Retail experience in golf, sporting goods, or hospitality environments
- Experience assisting with inventory counts or merchandising
- Knowledge of golf terminology and course operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
