Job Summary
Create strategic assortment plans and design data-driven floor and shelf space plans using DotActiv's Category Planning Software. Conduct analytical reviews of cluster plans to profile products and deliver strategic insights to clients. Maximise customer and category performance by considering category strategies, product financials, shopper psychology, and aesthetic appeal. Support and advise retail customers where required. This role requires a Consumer Science, Business, or Supply Chain degree and 2+ years of retail sector experience. A driver's license and own transport are mandatory. The position offers a Cost to Company of R18K-R25K CTC, upskilling opportunities, and a transparent job grading system within an innovative environment focused on retail sustainability.
Required Qualifications
- Creative flair and ability to identify aesthetic/visual appeal
- 2+ years of similar and relevant experience in the Retail Sector
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Computer Literacy - MS Office
- Driver's license and own transport
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Team player
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Must have strong analytical skills and be able to use data analysis techniques and how to apply these to business situations
- You must have a high capacity to represent the DotActiv brand as a specialist
- You must have a high degree of internal client engagement
- Consumer Science, Business/Marketing or Supply Chain related degree is a must
