Job Summary
Greet customers, guide them to fitting rooms, and sort returned clothing back to the floor to maintain a smooth fitting room experience. Motivate teammates to adopt initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program while keeping stockrooms organized and completing all inventory processes. Ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day. Assist customers with various transactions, demonstrate expertise in store technologies, and defuse customer situations with timely resolutions. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
- Accountability, initiative and a high level of ownership
- Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
