Job Summary
The Cashier at DICK’S Sporting Goods is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences and creating an exceptional shopping experience. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales transactions and returns, promoting company programs, and adhering to safety and standard operating procedures. Ideal candidates will have prior retail or cashier experience and the ability to stand and move for extended periods while lifting items occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items occasionally (up to 15 to 35 lbs.)
- Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours)
- Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously)
