Retail Cashier

Cashier responsibilities include greeting customers and proactively assisting with their shopping experience, processing sales transactions and returns in accordance with Front-End procedures, promoting company programs such as loyalty participation and credit card enrollment, adhering to safety and loss-prevention policies, maintaining confidentiality of company information, creating an inclusive store environment, supporting the team across the store, and performing other tasks as assigned by management. The role requires prior retail sales or cashier experience (customer-focused preferred), the ability to stand and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 15-35 lbs, up to several hours at a time), and a willingness to work in a part-time store setting at Dick's Sporting Goods. The targeting pay range is $16.00-$23.00 per hour, with actual pay varying by location and experience.
