Job Summary
Retail Cashier Associate at Big 5 Sporting Goods: provide exceptional customer service, operate and manage the front counter POS, welcome and assist customers, manage PA announcements, respond to inquiries, recommend products and add-on sales, handle cash and bagging, maintain a clean and stocked sales floor, receive shipments, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires 18+, strong communication, basic math, detail-orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with sporting goods is a plus. E-Verify upon offer. Part-time schedule with benefits including discounts, sick leave, and retirement options where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
