Job Summary
Big 5 Sporting Goods is looking for a Retail Cashier Associate responsible for managing the front counter POS terminal, cash-handling, providing customer service, overseeing stock, and maintaining the sales floor. Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented individuals with customer service backgrounds. Responsibilities include greeting customers, responding to phone inquiries, coordinating sales associates, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess basic math and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
- Candidate will be subject to E-Verify
- Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation
