Job Summary
Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking a Retail Cashier Associate responsible for overseeing the front counter POS terminal, cash-handling, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor. Candidates must be energetic, sports-minded, detail-oriented, and have solid customer service backgrounds or relevant educational paths. The position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have basic organizational and math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certificated equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Must possess effective and demonstrable interactive and communicative skills
