Job Summary
Retail Cashier Associate role handling front-counter POS operations and delivering outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include operating and managing the POS system, welcoming and assisting customers, directing sales associates via the PA system, answering inquiries, recommending products and add-ons, cash handling and bagging merchandise, maintaining a clean and stocked sales floor, receiving merchandise shipments, and performing additional duties as assigned by management. Required skills include strong communication, basic math and organizational abilities, reliability, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with sporting goods is a plus. Compliance with E-Verify is required upon accepting employment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus
