Job Summary
Deliver elevated hospitality by welcoming customers with warmth, providing personalized design recommendations, and building lasting relationships through proactive clienteling. Achieve individual sales goals by educating clients on products, cross-selling, and collaborating with teammates to drive store performance. Maintain visual excellence by executing merchandising direction, ensuring the store is guest-ready, and performing general housekeeping tasks including dusting and vacuuming. Support store operations by serving as a key holder for opening and closing procedures, handling cash, and reconciling registers. Participate in in-home appointments and installations to create seamless customer experiences. Work up to 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of retail sales experience
- Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful customer relationships
- Experience with consultative selling, clienteling, or delivering personalized customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to build rapport and engage customers naturally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets), POS systems, and other retail technology
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools
- Ability to perform in-home services
- Work up to 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
