Job Summary
Supervise branch staff, manage staffing levels, and ensure optimal performance through coaching, mentoring, and regular performance appraisals. Direct retail sales and operations personnel, conduct training sessions, and approve time cards while maintaining accurate payroll records. Execute marketing plans to attract new customers, build client relationships, and drive fee income and deposit revenue. Process consumer and small business loan applications, calculate terms, and communicate loan decisions in compliance with policies. Manage branch expenses, oversee safety measures, and maintain the building's security and cleanliness. Meet sales volume and profitability goals while representing D.L. Evans Bank at community events and industry seminars.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least six years of experience in banking as a retail operations supervisor or manager
- Understanding of bank policies and procedures, regulations, and documents relating to retail operations as well as consumer lending documentation, collection programs, and determination of credit worthiness
- Active license number with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry or the ability to obtain such
- Proven track record of community/civic/trade organization involvement and business development
- Strong interviewing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to use financial calculators and related computer applications and business machines
- Active participation in at least one civic organization
- Active participation in at least two extra curricular events/activities per quarter
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
