Job Summary
Build and repair bicycles according to established procedures, assisting with exercise equipment assembly as needed. Provide differentiated customer service by recommending products based on industry trends and customer needs, while actively selling bikes, related merchandise, and loyalty programs to achieve sales goals. Maintain merchandise presentation standards and signage for the Bike Department, adhering to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures. Uphold company confidentiality and support the team across the store with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
- Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience of building, repairing, and selling bicycles preferred
