Job Summary
Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while receiving and issuing cash checks, cashier checks, and gift cards. Operate coin machines, currency counters, and teller cash recyclers to handle vault transactions and maintain accurate cash balances. Enroll customers in online banking and Xpress Deposit, print statements, and manage miscellaneous tasks including bank opening/closing procedures and address changes. Assist customers via phone, place holds, and encode work. Maintain constant awareness of fraudulent or suspicious transactions to comply with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and financial recordkeeping regulations. Recognize CTR and SAR transactions and communicate any operational problems or policy violations upward. This entry-level role supports Signature Bank of Arkansas's mission to deliver memorable service to external and internal customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (both written and oral) with customers and team members
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to project friendly, courteous, and professional image
- Effective listening skills
- Sound reasoning and judgment skills with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to utilize all necessary software applications as well as Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal communication skills to effectively relate to all levels of the Bank staff
- Able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Use of fine motor skills
- Must be able to work extended hours
- Periodic travel
