Job Summary
Retail Banker I is a customer liaison responsible for delivering TD’s Brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice to assist customers with banking solutions/needs. The role involves educating customers on TD product features, identifying opportunities to educate on bank products, proactively engaging in customer assessments, handling a range of banking transactions, and referring customers to appropriate bank partners. It requires full proficiency gained through job-related training, maintaining NMLS registration, and adhering to regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes building relationships, delivering a Legendary Customer experience, and contributing to operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ years' experience working with customers and or sales in any capacity
- Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry)
- Teller training upon hire to take customer transactions
- Notary License (Preferred)
