Job Summary
Provide friendly and prompt customer service, handle cash and credit transactions at the register, offer product recommendations, and bake a variety of breads and pastries at Fresh Baguette's bakery cafes. Prepare products for the next day’s baking, organize and maintain storage areas, set up inviting bread displays, and ensure store safety, sanitation, and proper food storage. Build lasting relationships with customers, help them select items, and collaborate with the team in a fast-paced environment across multiple DC/MD/VA locations. Roles include Baking, Barista, Sandwich Making, and Customer Service; options to join as Full-Time or Part-Time Baker with shifts including early mornings and weekends. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, U.S. work authorization, adaptable availability, and hospitality experience; multilingual or English-proficient communication encouraged. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Open Availability to work Monday-Sunday
- Availability to work peak busy periods including Holidays
- Experience working in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment (at least 1 year)
- Experience in café/bakery or hospitality a plus
- Fluency in English
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to work
