Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries and prioritizing merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain a clean, organized store and ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan. Train and mentor Associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary. Organize back stock rotation, maintain signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs. Communicate effectively with management to set priorities and provide progress updates. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, lifting heavy objects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
