Job Summary
Greet and assist guests promptly at the Village Mercantile and Creamery while ensuring superior shopping and dining experiences. Follow proper sanitation standards, ring purchases correctly, and adhere to check/cash handling procedures. Stock merchandise, assist with inventory management, and maintain store cleanliness. Perform duties in both retail and ice cream shops, answer telephone inquiries, and learn the on-site point of sale system. Requires ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and carry 25 pounds several times during a shift.
Required Qualifications
