Job Summary
Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service while ensuring the store looks great and products remain fresh and presentable. Package, weigh, and price baked goods and merchandise; rotate stock to remove out-of-date items. Process customer orders using the POS, request receipts, and add names to the customer database. Operate and sanitize bakery equipment, maintain open communication with supervisors, and perform cleaning at the end of shifts or when the storefront is slow. Work on your feet for extended periods in a busy environment, adhering to all health and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (according to customer demand)
- (NY locations only) Food Protection Manager Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
- (NJ locations only) Serve Safe Food Handler Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30
