Job Summary
Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to customers and team members while ensuring the store looks great and products remain fresh. Package, weigh, and price all baked goods and merchandise; check freshness, rotate stock, and remove out-of-date items. Process customer orders using the POS, follow cash handling procedures, and ask every customer if they would like a receipt. Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding issues, operate and sanitize bakery equipment safely, and clean the storefront when slow. Answer telephone calls with excellent etiquette. Work on your feet for extended periods in a busy environment, adhering to all health and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
- (NY locations only) Food Protection Manager Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
- (NJ locations only) Serve Safe Food Handler Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
