Job Summary
Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service while ensuring the store looks great and products are fresh and presentable. Package, weigh, and price baked goods and merchandise; operate and sanitize bakery equipment safely. Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding issues, answer telephone calls with excellent etiquette, and follow cash handling procedures. Ensure shelves and displays are properly stocked, perform end-of-shift cleaning, and adhere to all health and sanitation procedures. Work on your feet for extended periods in a busy environment, maintaining a professional demeanor and engaging personality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
- (NY locations only) Food Protection Manager Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
- (NJ locations only) Serve Safe Food Handler Certificate holder or willing to obtain certification within 30
