Job Summary
Organize clothing racks, pick up fallen items from the sales floor, and return products to designated locations while maintaining color order and store cleanliness. Address spills and breakage promptly to remove safety hazards, and assist customers behind the register when needed. Prioritize attention to detail and adhere to safety procedures and company policies. Work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with bright lighting, requiring flexibility to switch tasks or departments based on operational needs. Interact regularly with customers, donors, and coworkers while wearing closed-toe shoes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Ability to constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction and working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
- Skill in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capability of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Capability of maintaining balance when performing agile tasks
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Requirement to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
