Job Summary
Sort donated items to determine sellability, set sale prices, and place merchandise on the sales floor. Maintain a clean, orderly production area and display fixtures while enforcing safety practices. Operate registers and store equipment as a cashier when needed, and provide courteous customer service. Reach and maintain production goals through cross-training in other departments as assigned. Complete all mandatory training and attend required meetings. Perform other duties as directed by management while adapting to changing store needs. Weekend availability is required for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Ability to communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative, and pleasant manner
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
- Ability to use all Store equipment, including phones, registers and PC
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 pounds
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies
- Flexibility to adapt and change duties as needed by the store management
