Job Summary
Organize clothing racks, pick up fallen items, and return products to designated locations while maintaining color order and store cleanliness. Address spills, remove safety hazards, and occasionally assist customers behind the register. Greet shoppers and ensure all departments adhere to organizational standards and safety procedures. Fulfill additional duties as assigned by leadership and comply with company policies. This role requires physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs in a fast-paced, noisy retail environment. Employees may work in all areas based on operational needs and must communicate effectively in English when interacting with customers and donors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Ability to constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction and working primarily with fingers rather than the whole hand or arm
- Skill in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capability of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Capability of maintaining balance when performing agile tasks
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Requirement to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of flexibility
- Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for comprehending instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
Desired Qualifications

- Previous thrift, retail, warehouse, or customer facing experience is preferred, but not required
