Job Summary
Organize clothing racks, promptly pick up fallen items, address spills, and return products to designated locations to maintain an orderly sales floor. Greet and assist customers, occasionally helping them retrieve items behind the register. Uphold assigned departments to organizational standards by prioritizing attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness while adhering to safety procedures and company policies. Switch tasks or departments based on operational needs to contribute to a collaborative team environment. Work in a dynamic, noisy, and brightly lit setting requiring physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Ability to constantly apply negligible force when handling objects
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Skill in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Capability of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Capability of maintaining balance when performing agile tasks
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Requirement to wear closed-toe shoes for safety purposes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Ability to work effectively in a bright environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High degree of flexibility
- Fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for comprehending instructions
