Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team committed to excellence. Operate electronic cash registers, handle cash and charge transactions, and prepare cash drawers. Receive, sort, price, and rotate stock while conducting quality control and performing inventories. Assist GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines. Requires medium physical demand with prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Speak and understand the English language sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Able to maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.
- Perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Must regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Medium physical demand level
- While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear.
- Frequently required to walk and/or stands for up to 8 hours per day.
- Occasional need to push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment with loads weighing up to 250 pounds.
- Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled space. May occasionally perform work in outside weather conditions.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience that would lend itself to good customer service is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.
