Job Summary
Greet walk-in customers and guide them through product selection for commercial kitchens, restaurants, bars, or home use. Operate the point-of-sale system to complete transactions, answer inbound phone calls for catalog sales, and source new opportunities through leads, follow-ups, and emails. Quote prices, discuss credit terms, prepare sales orders, and restock shelves while maintaining showroom cleanliness. Receive deliveries, assist with inventory management and cycle counts, and monitor product displays for accuracy. Support wholesale accounts with inquiries and order pickups, attend manufacturer trainings, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from Retail Store
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sales and customer service experience preferred
- Culinary background helpful
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office products
