Job Summary
Process purchases using the POS system while ensuring item accuracy and proper payment handling. Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs while maintaining merchandising standards and store cleanliness. Assist with inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory to uphold product display and inventory accuracy. Support customers by addressing purchasing needs and managing exchanges and security practices. Work 50% of games, concerts, and events across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be available to work 50% of games, concerts, and events
- Hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to learn and use POS system, telephones, and radios
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to manage stress and defuse potentially stressful situations
- Ability to work well with patrons from varied backgrounds
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, move heavy objects, use a computer, use a 10-key calculator, use a telephone, speak, hear, and write
- Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels in office environment and loud noise levels in Gainbridge Fieldhouse / game environment
